What is love?

I used to believe that love must be selfless and unconditional in order to be even considered to be love at all that if you hold somebody in a negative light or mistreat them it means that you don’t or never really loved them. We humans often confuse between love end relationship these may be interrelated but they are not synonymous and are often contradictory. I Now understand that selfless and unconditional- that is transcendental love is the only love or the only part of love that is ultimately sustainable we often mistreat the most those that we love the most. When in relationship whether it be couples friends parent-child family Etc when people mistreat each other it is not a proof that it is not really love. it is proof that our love assuming that it is love but it’s all love because nothing else really exists but love there is nothing but love as there is nothing that is not God that is what the expression God is love means.it is proof that our love has not evolved to the level of being transcendental. Any love short of transcendental love is bound to create pain and suffering for oneself and predicates either transmutation of limited to Limitless love or temporal failure of that love. Yet even this temporal failure is not separate from but is part of a process of the ultimate transmutation that is inevitable even though it may take lifetimes or even the second death for a soul to achieve. The second death refers not to the death of the body but 2 the death and rebirth of the soul. It is the spirit which is eternal. It is this spirit which creates the soul. The soul may become eternal but only through the realization of compassion. Short of this realization of compassion the soul which is constituted of memory may to die or be erased and a New Soul without memories be reborn as many times as it takes to find compassion which is temporally elusive but ultimately inevitable. The soul which is emotion is constituted by in and through memory and manifests as personality and identity which is the awareness of existence of self or self-awareness. I have come to the understanding that humans with the exception of the bodhisattva that have attained the realization of consciousness that humans on an evolutionary scale are only partially sentient that is conscious. Every Soul however has the potential of the realization of compassion without exception. Being only partially sentient as in realized or conscious the remainder of our consciousness an estimated 80 to 90% constitutes the subconscious or the unconscious. The conscious mind seeks to avoid or prevent that which we fear as unpleasant on desirable outcomes, while the subconscious as long as it exists seeks to create that which we fear the most. This serves to compel beings which have an innate tendency towards complacency to act out in such ways so as to create the precise exact and specific sufferings which we require for to be rousted and to roust ourselves out of this tendency towards complacency to a more proactive participation in our own evolutionary process. the transformation of Consciousness and the realization of Consciousness shine light on the subconscious and unconscious bringing them to the conscious consciousness. Consciousness does not reside in the brain and exists independently of the body although from our own subjective point of view it does not appear to us to be that way. If everything really happens for a reason the transformation of Consciousness and the realization of compassion is that reason. This is not about what is normal or not normal. Selective compassion is typical but it is not fully transcendental. Universal Transcendent compassion is atypical as it is in the minority, the domain of the bodhisattva. Degrees of possessiveness with the possible exception of questions concerns or insecurities about the possibility of uncertainty about paternity issues in heterosexual relationships may be excessive forms of dominance and control tendencies indicate a fundamental insecurity which is a diplomatic and polite way of saying fearful. If you fear losing the comfort of emotional bonding with someone you will consciously seek to preserve while subconsciously or unconsciously sabotaging. Only the most high unconditional and Selfless Love may be ultimately sustainable. Even your quote-unquote conscious actions may tend to create that which you seek to prevent or avoid.
